TNR Mission - Al Gharafa

Join our community-led effort to humanely control cat overpopulation.

Our Mission

Helping Al Gharafa’s street cats through TNR: trap, neuter, return. Less overpopulation, healthier cats, and a kinder community.

How We Help?

TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return)
A tabby cat sits on a concrete cinder block, appearing to be cleaning itself in a narrow passage or alleyway. The environment includes gravel, small plants, and various weathered wooden and metal surfaces.

We humanely trap community cats, take them for spaying or neutering, and then return them safely to their area.

A black cat sits calmly on a concrete surface under a makeshift shelter. The area around it is cluttered with stacks of cardboard, some partially torn, and there are metal beams supporting the structure. The walls are painted in a peach color, and the overall scene has a sense of untidiness.

A group of cats, mostly orange with one having mixed black and white fur, gather on a paved surface as they eat small pieces of food scattered on the ground. The setting appears to be outdoors on a plain concrete area.

Vet Care & Vaccines

With the help of local vets, we provide essential medical care such as vaccinations, parasite treatments, and minor treatments.

By sharing knowledge and tips, we aim to build a more compassionate and sustainable approach to cat population management.

Community Cats

When you visit Al Gharafa A/C park, keep an eye out for cats with a small cut on the tip of their ear – this means they’ve been neutered through our TNR program. You can also check out our Facebook and Instagram pages to see all the cats we’ve helped.
